Our Location
Slieve League
Our location in Glencolmcille, South West Donegal, will lend visitors the perfect opportunity to visit highest sea cliffs in Europe, located a short 15 minute drive away at Slieve League.
This unmissable visitor attraction offers truly awesome views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Sligo Mountains and Donegal Bay as you approach the terrifyingly high top of Slieve League, where the cliff face of Bunglass rises nearly 2,000ft above the raging ocean.
Experienced walkers may wish to venture beyond the viewing point and on to the world famous “One Man’s Pass”.
An Gaeltacht - Áit ar leith.
Glencolmcille is a Gaeltacht (Irish Speaking) area named after St. Colm Cille. The region is renowned for its wealth of traditional culture, music and prehistoric settlements, as well as the excellent amenities available here, such as the famous Folk Village, founded as a result of notable community effort, to which the work of Oideas Gael continues to contribute.
