A Hill Walker's Paradise
The most renouned walk in the area is of course that which takes in the highest sea cliffs in Europe. This walk takes in the summit of Slieve League via the world famous “One Man’s Pass”
In a Fáilte Irreland led initiatiove, a major upgrade of this blue chip walk is currently taking place which will firmly position this walk as one of Ireland’s premier activity tourist attractions.
In addition two further local walks have been included in a new tourism initiative promoting high quality “Loop Walks” throughout Ireland.
These are the “Drum Loop” and the shorter “Tower Loop” which each start and finish at St Columba’s Church in the village.
